We have a new vacancy for an experienced and ambitious Joinery Estimator to join our exceptionally busy and growing team, based at our Luton headquarters.
This is a hugely visible and key role for the business and will require you to be a brand ambassador for the firm with its clients and employees.
You will need to draw on your experience to proactively support senior management with the ongoing review of our delivery of standards, policies and systems. Main areas of responsibility will be:
Carrying out detailed estimates for all joinery work and contracts (using our bespoke software platforms).
Close liaison with the Project Manager, CAD technician and the Design Team for client and contract coordination and planning.
Ensure that high standards of quality are delivered consistently.
Manage the estimate process through to converted and agreed contract work.
Ensure that accounts processes and invoices are managed correctly.
Identify and select subcontractors and solicit competitive pricing for tenders.
Place orders for materials and goods required, negotiating on current market prices, delivery and quality … to meet site programme needs.
Ensure all materials comply with the given specifications or offering suitable alternative materials for site / client approval.
Maintain up to date cost data feedback for estimating purposes and other members of staff.
Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and excellent customer service. In return, we offer a highly competitive rate of pay.

Standard hours of work are 7.30a.m. to 5.00p.m., Monday to Friday.
