Working Foreperson / Bench Joiner

The successful candidate will be an excellent Bench Joiner currently performing a supervisory role.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the suitable candidate will take a lead role within the workshop ensuring works are carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner, driving both efficiency and quality. You will have a proven track record manufacturing bespoke joinery using various materials including but not limited to solid timbers, sheet materials, laminates, veneers and solid surface.

As a Working Foreman/woman you will supervise the team together with performing bench joinery tasks, including:

· Assembly and construction of all joinery items.

· Interpreting drawings and instructions.

· Using tools, machinery and equipment within the joinery workshop.

· Planning work and workstation.

· Requiring minimal supervision to produce work.


Some site work may be required and, therefore, site working experience would be advantageous, though not essential.

Successful applicants will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of bench joinery and hold either a City and Guilds/NVQ2 or equivalent Joinery qualification.

You must also have a minimum of 1 year’s supervisory experience in a joinery environment.

CNC experience would also be advantageous, though not essential.

You will be well presented, highly motivated and willing to work within a close-knit team and possess an eye for detail and quality.

Salary: Highly competitive with benefits package

Standard hours of work are 7.30a.m. to 5.00p.m., Monday to Friday.
