About the role
We are offering a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship. You will be trained and assessed onsite and will not be required to attend college on a day release programme.
This is an exciting, new opportunity to work for a well-established, family-owned Joinery business with over 145 years’ experience in the industry. This is a newly created role to provide support in our busy joinery office, to gain a valuable NVQ qualification at the same time and become a valued professional member of the team.
We’ll be looking for you to develop into the role of a great business administrator, who can anticipate potential issues before they arise (and stop them from doing so), are great at joined-up thinking and can assess the impact a change in one process can have on another and possess an eye for detail and quality. We will need you to have good spelling and numeracy skills, work to deadlines (sometimes under pressure) and be adaptable while being approachable and professional with our customers.
Successful applicants will be well presented, highly motivated and willing to work within a close-knit team. Great interpersonal skills including a good telephone manner are a must have too. Ideally, you’ll also have an interest in professional social media usage, including LinkedIn and Facebook.
The main duties will include:
• Full range of administrative work at our Luton office
• Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software suites
• Ensuring that the office runs on a smooth basis
• Using bespoke software packages (training provided

• Social media support work for the business
English and Maths at A* - C or grades 4-9 in GCSE/O Level (or equivalent).
